Clarke-Tech patches on Technomate?

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know if there´s a chance to upload patches from Clarke Tech receivers to our Technomates in order to keep them up to date?
Heared some time ago that it works with a special program and maybe it would be quite useful after Magic stopped making new patches. There are many Clarke Tech patches coming out and both receivers are very, very similar.

There is a sticky in the Clarke tech section "Is it possible ..C-T.. 2 ..TM....?" which would seem to suggest that this was not a good idea. Although, I'm sure that someone with more knowledge could engineer these patches so that they would work on TMs

i have seen a new tm6900 patch posted elsewhere
lets hope this means support will continue for the tm users

Future will tell us. It is not because some people no longer support these patches, for what ever reason, no new patches will be released? I don't think these people have the power to stop releasing new patches. Going to other brand patches would also mean there is no way back to the Technomate patches if something goes wrong you end up with a dead box. I rather have a fully functioning box than a dead one.
