Dream Elite BH 1.2.4 OE1.6 DM8000 Multiboot

Have many of you tried this image?
I loaded it yesterday in flash replacing BH that had been on 7 months.
I found it went on with no problems, cccam downloaded and installed fine, I had help from sonic to get info on screen after channel change but seems a very stable image.
Fan control 2 plugin works well but haven't tested much else yet.

Yes I have m8 and the one before it the 1.2. It must be due to the new OE1.6 as the three new images currently out all do the same.

Image goes on fine and all working OK until I re-map my HD and sd card and then it crashes on re-boot every time. The initial DB screen comes up then it goes blank and just sits there.

All attempts at a re-flash with any of the OE1.6 image fails with a black screen on boot-up. I then have to flash with BH10 to get the box working again. I can then re-flash with any of the OE1.6 images and it is OK until the re-map is attemped.

The HD works un-mapped with OE1.6 but the SD does not.

Something is afoot here I think. :nopity:

After reading your post I tried mapping my HD, CF, and SD card expecting it to all end in tears and nasty "you are offline" messages from my friends.
Luckily this didn't happen, the reboot was fine and Meoboot is installed in CF.
I haven't had time to load any other images but will keep you informed.

I have had no problems installing this image and it mapped a cf etc first time. I don't know how it compares to other images though as this is the first one that I have tried.

After reading your post think I need to do a factory reset and try again. :confused:

OE1.6 will not accept any of my drives and after the re-boot failure will not boot up even after a fresh OE1.6 reflash. I have to reflash with an older image and only then will it boot up.

The BH 1.0 which I am currently using finds and mounts the hd and sd card. Satfred has found his 800hd is asking to remap his usb stick as well so he may have the same problem as me.

I have HDD and USB mapped fine on my 800HD, I have the 500HD reading epg from the 800 and movies streaming from the 800 HDD working perfectly on to my 500HD :respect-050:
