I have got couple of questions guys.
1.Am I doing something wrong here, it seems that channel lock symbol is there but channel actually is not locked...tried on few channels, all same.
2.Tried to record ITVHD the other day, set the timer and let it going, unfortunately there was no picture, i tried on BBC HD for few minutes tha was OK, this was on TM6900 Super Combo 7.14p with 4gb memory stick

Any one has got idea why this happening?

what do you mean by channel lock symbol: $ this one? Any reason why you're not on 7.22p?

I meant I wanted to lock the channel, when I did lock it the symbol appears but channel still open. Even ask me to save the changes****Yes...

I wasn't sure about the 7.22p, I was waiting to read for some feedback then I was going to put it on leave it as ti is...

Page 33: Lock channels: every time you want to watch it you have to enter a password?

don't know if this works if you want to record?
did already test the Timed Manager from the usb menu and that did work ok. set timer there start and end time and channel and then switch in standby

receiver starts up for recording, switches to the channel and asks for the password? I presume you was not there to enter the password and so i give no password.

no recording takes place if no PIN is entered: Lock channel prevents you from viewing the channel and recording it

recording issues where solved to, with timed recordings returns now to standby afterwards.
Except if your using older patches for a specific reason (cyfra, Polsat, ???) if no special issues use the latest.

It is ok now Giga here is what small print says ''If you set Lock Channel Confirm OFF, you will not be asked to enter a password even if a channel is locked'' which is mine set to OFF.
So regarding ITVHD recording, this issue nothing to do with Lock channels becuase i don't have any channels locked atm, anyway I have done exactly what you said and also record straight without time setting, it is strange, it is showing times ie 1.26sec recorded but screen is still black...this is only on ITVHD other channles recording and playing fine

it should not be doing that it did record on 7.22p. When your on ITVHD can you do live recording on to the USB Stick?

Yep latest pacth 7.22p with ADDON_002p-tm-6900-6800-7100 sorted the ITVHD recording problem. Interesting thing was after updating everything back on as normal, all channels, settings, sats etc, I did have to do any Factory reset or switch Off rear Switch and wait 30 Seconds... all seems OK atm...
except can't watch second channel while recording one?

you can record 2 channels and watch a 3rd on the same transponder like this would be the case for BBC red button, if the used usb device is up to it. Test this before you really need it.
