Firstly can I say this is only in my house.

I have Dreambox DM7000S acting as a server , 3 cards in it.

I have a Dreambox DM500S acting as a client and all is working as it should.

I also have a Technomate TM7100 HD and I cannot get this receiver to work with my local cardsharing network.

All 3 receivers are wired to my router.

I have loaded the latest Magic patch and the 6900 addon.

I dialled 8281 0000 and accessed Connection 0

I put in the username, password, port number and IP address.

My question is with the Dreambox I use a C-LINE like
C: XXX.XX.XXX.XX 12000 username password 0 1 0 { 0:0:1 }

On the Technomate TM7100 there is no facility to put in C: XXX.XX.XXX.XX
so all I could do was put in the IP address xxx.xx.xxx.xx

At the moment I only have free to air channels on my Technomate TM7100 so all help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

this is how it works on the 6900 HD Super, should be very similar: 8 2 8 1 Ethernet (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=114462)<= click here
also take in to account: assigning IP address range (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?p=726322#poststop) <= click here if you find the postings good: https://www.satpimps.co.uk/images/styles/soness/buttons/post_thanks.gif

Kindly let us know if this is working on 7100 HD?

Has anyone tried C/S in Europe using 3G broadband with 100% success??

I was on holiday in France /Spain this year and decided to give it a go as I was touring and no mains connections were available. I used a portable 3G router /broadband dongle with wireless connection and lan socket.
The unit was set up before takeoff with 3G card from Three and first thing to say it is bloody expensive using a dongle in your laptop typically £20 for 1hrs use!!! however I digress the first few times I could not connect although a signal was available from the correct provider then in Biarritz I managed to connect and saw the GP of Germany but my enthusiam was soon dampened as I could never see anything else despite having a good connection at all times.

P.S. Just had a short break in Ireland and it worked flawlessley all the time with Three sim. Any input welcome. @Mods if this is not within the rules please delete.

This might be slightlyoff topic but maybe relevant to the posting - I have a 7102HD and understand that is need to be loaded with a phantompatch to load certain extra features such as discussed above - does anyone have an explaination of how to load and what the latest patch gives ? I have search many boards plus the files here but all I see is a patchfile.stb (and yes I know I can load it via USB but silghtly more details would make me more comfortable as I do not wish to brick my stb)

thanks for this slightly off topic reply

Thanks,
The patch I can find, the others - not so easy - will look again for the sharing addon.

many thanks
