where picture will be saved:
Hello,
To perform a TV screenshot you simply need to press the Check/Select button of the RCU while watching TV.
Azbox will prompt you for a confirmation.
On Premium with internal HDD the pictures are stored in: DATA/hdb1/picture
On Elite with an external usb HDD: DATA/usb1 (or 2)/sda1/picture
how to save:
There are 2 ways to make screenshots of AZBox.
First and easier, press the Check button on your command. This will create a screenshot of the TV picture. But, it doesn't capture OSD menus or messages.
Second, and a bit more complex. Using Telnet, access your box, and type the command:
admin_control /tmp/file.png
If you want more screenshots, change file.png, to whatever other name, like, file01.png, file02.png...
After that access your box, by FTP, go to /tmp folder and copy the pictures to where you want them.
This second method only captures OSD, not the TV image.
So, from what I understand of your question, no it's not possible to make a screenshot of a TV program with OSD.
....
You can also do that with web interface or with AZBox Control Center and save in your pc.

Juka
I use the MiniRC tab within AZBox Control Center software. It allows for SD or HD screen shots.
