When will 800SE be released?

given how long it took dream to get the 500hd out, I would say probably september time at the earliest ... but never know, they might have it virtually ready, and just late unveiling it...

That inclusion of the power switch at the back looks good! Also noticed the movement of where the esata port is ... wonder what it looks like inside!?

Finally, any chance of a free upgrade for us 800 owners?! ;) :p hehe

Well according to here it is not released until 01.08.2010 and its 499 euros !!!

sell it and get the SE , sorry nothing else to do .

the processor is super fast , great new tuner , extra cardreader , hdmi , everything else is like the old first edition .............extra card reader , oled , internal sata hdd and two usb ports are the advantages - compared to 500HD .....

do you guys realy think that DMM will give us DM 800 SE before they have sold all the stock they have from DM 800 old and buggy one ? i for one do not belive it, but hey i have been wrong before once or twice hihi. im afraid they are just wating to get a word from the resellers to see if there is any old boxes lef, so they can release the new and beter box

Sounds a long time to hold out for the new stock, as I have looked at most of the UK dealers and they seem to be out of stock of the old ones and saying they are awaiting the SE.

Really wanting to know if to go for the 500HD now, then the 800SE later, but didn't want to get a 500HD one week, then a week or so later the 800SE if released.

Trouble with that idea, is that they released news too early that they are releasing an 800se... If they didn't mention it, then suppliers would probably sell the 800 to the punters who want to buy it. Then, when they are told all are virtually sold, then release news that it's coming...
