Hi

Just installed the new Nabilosat Elite Bh103 image and i have noticed a brown tint.. I have tried altering all the colour settings on my pioneer tv but i cannot get it right, The effect is similar to the coloured in b & w movies. yet when i put the old image back the colours go correct. I know this sounds impossible as i believe they use the dm video drivers, but there is something strange here.

Has anyone noticed this?

The picture is watchable just has a brown tint e.g. lacking in blue content and it doesn't matter how you adjust the tint controls, it is not right

Any idea what is wrong here?

on hdmi 1080i

it appears to be lacking in blue content i had the same effect when i put an enigma 2 image in a kathrein 910 and when i put the original image back all was well

you can adjust the rgb controls on my pioneer but the blue has to be adjusted to near full to get near to normal pic but this is still not as good as the old image

very strange i also noticed someone on another board saying something similar

hi sonic

i will try to get a pic but its just the same as turning down the blue drive on your tv its a brown/orange effect

shame as the image itself is perfect and i have a usb tv stick for it

but the quality of the pic is what matters so i will be forced to go back to the old one

i would of thought the vid drivers were all the same on the images

thx

It does not make sense to be honest, there is nothing within the image that can cause this.
On Dream Elite board I have not read a single report of this problem.

What is odd is you say you had a simliar problem with your kathrein 910.

Have you tried a different lead or maybe tested on someone elses TV ?

ok

i know it does not add up that's why i posted this problem
cant think what it could be but why should one image be fine
i cant see it being a hardware fault as this would be on both images

this is the strangest problem iv had to date

as for the kathrein this was a known problem with enigma 2 video drivers
thats why most people used the original hacked images instead of the enigma 2

thx anyway
