anyone know went cccam version useing on TM6900HD Super
have it running on a cccam 2.14 server, did run stable on 2.11, 2.12 and 2.13
technomate shows as 2.0.11 client
home network router: 192.168.123.254
TM-6900HD on 192.168.123.006 (DHCP Off)
Gateway 192.168.123.254
DNS: 192.168.123.254
It has to show connected then your on the right track
TimeOut: 7 sec
create for each server a filter and assign that filter to that server (Filter 0, 1)
Caid would be the encoded system used (0100 = Seca)
Ident would be the provider ID for the used encoded system (00006C, 00006A)
other codings use other Caid and other providers use other ID'S
if you look in the cccam section for these 2 files:
CCcam.providers where the first part of the number would give you the used coding
0100006A "S3-Canal Digitaal NL+HD (19E)"
CCcam.channelinfo this would give you the relation between channel and provider/coding
0100:00006A:07E4 "Canal Digitaal - Animal Planet [S2 6A]"
If you don't have connects check router log for blocked traffic to/from your TM
router should have a rule(s) set (if you can do this with the MAC address: would be preferred)
one would be allowing TCP traffic from the Technomate with the port range used by that server (example 12000 - 12010) these are the ports from the server.
other could be allowing traffic from the server to Technomate allowing any traffic from any port.
Don't go below 3 seconds timeout
ping to server should be as low as possible:
0.3 seconds in home network
below 1 second
Satpimps would be a good server with these timings:
Answer from 74.52.41.90: bytes=32 tijd=138 ms TTL=44
Answer from 74.52.41.90: bytes=32 tijd=137 ms TTL=44
Answer from 74.52.41.90: bytes=32 tijd=137 ms TTL=44
Answer from 74.52.41.90: bytes=32 tijd=138 ms TTL=44
Ping-statistics for 74.52.41.90:
Packets: transmitted = 4, received = 4, loss = 0
(0% loss).Average time for executing ‚‚n in milliseconds:
Minimum = 137ms, Maximum = 138ms, Gemiddelde = 137ms
you should have a similar response with dos command from your PC:
ping www.Satpimps.com
you have to replace www.Satpimps.com with the wanted server name or its ip address

Is it absolutely necessary to put the CAID and IDENT info in the filter section on the technomate?
The reason I ask is because I had cccam running to a fashion with an earlier patch.
I have since put the latest patch on the receiver and replaced my defunct netgear router with a belkin and am now unable to connect :(
I have DHCP set to auto and everything appears to be OK, all of the details in the IP menu appear automatically, and I can see the 6900 super + in the belkins menu connected has "host"
I have loaded the c lines as shown in Gigas tutorial and all seems ok but unable to connect. would appreciate any pointers or ideas as I must be very close!
Just one more thing is it still necessary to load the "add on" that came with the 713p patch? I never installed this patch or the add on as I went straight to the latest patch.

I'm on 7.22p with the the 2nd released addon-2 and not the first one! I would never hurt to reload the addon!
It is important to change the address of the router and the used network addresses within the network?
Change router address is 192.168.123.254 with subnetmask 255.255.255.0 and the technomate to 192.168.123.006 it should connect.
Change DHCP settings for router it should handout addresses from 192.168.123.10 to 128
CAID and IDENT are fine tunning so only correct requests go to the server and you don't get kicked off by the server asking to many requests.
If you don't connect see if the home network changes work, change settings in router so it would fit the above!
if that is done check the router log for blocked traffic from and to the Technomate!
If the router blocks in/out going traffic you get nowhere
sections in the router that could be relevant: internet security, firewall, internet access, logs, ...

Hi Giga,
I'm on 7.22p but struggling to find the 2nd add on :(
I have altered Ip addresses but still can't connect.
Whats the easiest way for me to ping my receiver from a pc just to make sure the LAN connection is OK (i'm pretty sure it is)
RATIUS
from the command prompt: (xp: found in the bureau accessories: C:\)
ping www.satpimps.co.uk
add on (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=124860) <= click here
yes you can only ping from your computer. It gives you indication if server is alive and the response time. Somewhere in your router traffic is stopped: could be outgoing from Technomate or incomming to Technomate. Check the router manual:
where are settings to block internet traffic in/out.
where you can log traffic (blocked, or IP from TM and see what is happening there)

Thank you for your reply, just installed the add on. Still no joy, had a look in the traffic section of router nothing flagged as blocked :( I'll keep playing with the settings, it appears ip addresses cause more than their share of problems with this receiver.
The ports that need opening, are those the ports given to me in the clines? 33359,33335 etc?
RATIUS
yes, check to if traffic is blocked for other reason between Technomate IP, somewhere in your router you should be able to tell if this is the case.
for testing purpose fine tune these later
outgoing
allow any traffic from source TM6900 HD Super to any destination (CCcam server)
incoming
allow any traffic from any destination (CCcam server) to TM6900 HD Super
if there is an option for statefull packet inspection filtering: it should not be used for these 2 rules
