Hi,
I'm experiencing a problem with my azbox premium.
The picture gets frozen and the device stops to respond till I reboote it. It keeps doing that every few minutes.
It's almost a new box.
Any suggestion?!!
have u tried installing latest software after formating application area.

your problem is reported on other forums by couple of users, we are not alone.
I hope these bugs will be fixed sone, before I loose my temper.
I hope that there is a solution to problems and it is not the hardware.

I too have had this problem. I did a a full backup of channels etc. Then I did a factory reset, rebooted, reentered network settings display settings and what not, last but not least I installed the backup, rebooted, and now it seems fine.

I tried the factory reset. It worked fine for less than a day then again freezing, frequent rebooting, disconnection then reconnection...etc.
The problem even progressed later and too many attempts needed to make it work again.
I also noticed is that the device keeps producing unsual sounds as if it is attempting to start some engine (or working a cd).
The other observation is that it keeps not recognising the internal hard disc or the timeshift function at occasions inbetween the system freezes.
Could anyone advise me whether updating or fashing a new firmware could help and how can I do that.
thanks

If you are using Multicas B03 then install old ones or the new B05
B03 had CPU problems that might cause this problem.

Thanks guys for trying to help. Unfortunately I couldn't use your recommendations cause I'm "linux" naive !!
The good news, yet strange, is that the box has been working well (almost like normal) for the last 2 days. I didn't do anything before that...
That should rule out any hardware problems....right?
I'm not sure however for how long it'll continue like that before flipping again!!
Any theories or similar experiences.....in a simple way please?!!
always appreciate your help.
