That is Open only Soft keys witch pacth in 36degree..
if you talikng about 16degree diema similar package is open by gift most all channels..

Well I've been trying all week mate, just had another go here and still not open. I did do a full scan 6 days back and nothing, still get the HD channels and the rest of the package but they stay scrambled.

Which softcam you using mate please, if you wanna PM to the correct one then please do as I've tried alsorts even have the ucas set to on but still nothing :banghead:

I have had the spiderbox since february What a good box, I moved the dish for the first time to 39 east tonight put the latest softcam in and the channels are open,

Also loaded the latest vplug for my Skystar2 and the channels opened

conect usb stick to spiderbox usb and in menu go to usb and find the extracted file press Ok on it.

WHEN UPDATE TO NEW PATCH CHOOSE S\W UPDATE ONLY (if you choose S\w+all data your settings dissapear)

I don't get the option to update...All I get is when I open USB then Softcam and click ok all I get is do I want to save Yes/No must be something else I'm missing :cool:

I think you will find that you only get the UPDATE and therefore select software only when you are updating the patch.....For softcam update just go to USB, highlight the softcam file, and when it ask if you want to save, you just say yes, and it will be installed.

Also in the key edit bit of the menu, I think you will see two lines with UCAS......I think you will find that these need to be on for your softcam to work.

Viewing everything else no probs.

So if I install Darkman 2 again do you think that should do it ?

Remember this bit also, if they are not switched to ON then your softcam will not work.

Think I need some help here fendoch, I don't seem to be able these two lines you mention.

It's like I missing something here, i've taken some pictures of my menu if that's any help mate :respect-048:

before you load the softcam for the 1st time rest key data.
Or if you change you make changes to the softcam as it writes into what it has and does not write over I found.
So if in doubt reset key data then load softcam

Just as tr8 says...reset key data, and then update your softcam.

Your second picture above shows that UCAS is ON and UCAS Autoroll is also on,
so that should be it......you should not need to go into the third picture above

Well i'm stuffed here, banging my head against the wall now as i've tried what tr8 said and gone back to rabbys file on the usb stick and added that again but nothing on 39east only the fta.

About 15 minutes ago i decided to run the patch again, got to 20% on the install then gave up, i did some reading up and loaded the 20th December patch then a later one and now it's showing newer version software in the system menu, upped echelons softcam key and now i have good picture :respect-067:
