DM500 Cccam SCT Irdeto card

Hi,
DM 500HD with Dream Elite1.3 in flash.
Running cccam, I can not get a new SCT Irdeto card to clear.
I read something about this somewhere that the config file needed to be added too, has anyone any ideas.
Should I try another cam if so what one.

Download CCcam 2.1.4 from the addons menu and see if it works.

Yes I tried that yesterday, I have tried 2.0.11 and 2.1.4 but no luck. I came across a thread on some forum a few weeks ago but i can't remember where that talked about entering some additional lines to the config but so far no joy.

Have you downloaded the cccam config file as well? Cccam (the cam) alone is not enough. Is your card activated? You might need to enter a camkey and cardata line in your config.

Depending on what irdeto card you've got the camdata and camkey differ. Try this for starters in your CCcam.cfg CAMKEY: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CAMDATA: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Hi,
Yes I downloaded the config file as well, First the 2.0.11 and now the 2.1.4. The card is new and I do not know if it is activated or not. I left it on last night but no difference. I will try the Camdata and Camkey later this evening. The card is a I***** Zeta card, SCT.

Just to make things clear all cccam config files are the same. Only the cams differ. Try the two lines i suggested, i read they are good for sct zeta cards. You should also have no problems with activation.
