CT 2100plus. Seems that I can no longer scan in a transponder that transmits both HD and SD signals to pull in the SD chans. Have had this on 3 sats so far and 23E is the latest with 12129V 27500 3/4 as an example. Anyone else noticed this?

A receiver with a dvb-s tuner cannot receive dvb-s2 transponder ! For example: long time ago the 23.5E Kabel Deutschland SD channel could receive only with a HD receiver ! But this is already known!

as Smart explains C-Tech 2100 Plus / USB is only MPEG-II digital & fully DVB compliant, for HD most are now in MPEG-IV. The C-Tech 2100 Plus has a DVB-S tuner, receiving MPEG-IV requires a DVB-S2 tuner.
