Are latest batch of VU duo V2.3 ?

It has been suggested that the current batch of vu duo's may be a new V2.3 version.

Anyone know if this is true or complete rubbish.

If true, what is new about v2.3?

yes the latest batch is version2.3 with Black remote control,,aparently it have some hardware correction from the previous ones..but until now no public info about the differences

I have seen reports that this latest batch has a white remote control.

Remove the lid and look on the board.You have to take lid off to put in a hard drive ,so shouldn't be a problem

got mine from our sponsor and its 2.3 with white remote.

the only differences is with the white remote control version is the box will not switch on from deep stanby when using timer record but with the new rev version it will
that is the only difference between the versions witch is not important as most people put there boxes into normal standby when using timer record
even with the old rev versions the retailers can still request black remotes or white remotes but most of the old rev versions where sold with white remotes.
but i wouldnt woory about your box not being able to switch its self on from deep standby in timer record i meen who does that anyway
