if you press the big white play button on a recording, you can then type in a percentage - so if you tap in 55 on the keypad, it shows 55% - but i dont know the key to hit to initiate the skip.
does any know, what this MAGIC key is?
it takes ages to fast forward to half way thru a film otherwise....

Hadn't seen that feature before but no key press seems to force it to happen - I guess it's another bug. I find pressing and holding right the best way to skip through long recordings rather than FFWD.

Is it the "tick" button?
I've not tried it myself, but it would be handy to use.

Not the "tick". I just tried every button with no success. Pressed and held some also with no luck. Would be good to sort this one.

its been like this since day one, thought i'd raise it anyway.
the time shift bug annoys me too, where u cant include\record the buffer in a recording.

has anyone worked this out, or a way to skip in 15 min chunks for something?
Theres a plugin on another forum in this universe thats still testing. You use the numbers for different times.

Do you have a link to it please?
I don't know if they allow links to other forums. PM sent.

this is now working in .44 firmware, press PLAY during playback, and you can type in percentage i.e 66% and press OK and it will jump to 66% - this may have come in, in earlier firmwares, but its defo working now
BRAVO to all involved!
