Im am looking to buy a vu+ duo, but can anyone tell me how, you configure a smargo with the receiver?
Are the drivers pre-installed with the image, so only have to be configured in cccam config?
I want to use a 0963, but read that the internal readers will fry the card, so i want to be safe.
I have done searches but cant find anything definite.
Cheers

Ok thanks but does it need any drivers installing, and editing of /etc/init.d/bootup like a Dm800?
careful with the set to 6mhz if your card is not supporting this!
In CCcam.cfg is card overclocking and there you just edit like so:
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyUSB0 4800000 and card works with 4.80mhz set by smartreader+.
Available frequencies
3.20, 3.43, 3.69, 4.00, 4.36, 4.80, 5.34, 6.00, 6.86, 8.00, 9.61, 12.0 and 16.0 MHz
The user can selected any freqency. The Smartreader+ will selected the nearest available.
Default smartreader+ speed is with new v1.3 firmware 3.69MHZ and most cards works with that speed.

would i be right in assuming that the dm8000 drivers and file edits would be the same as the VU+Duo ?
