Hi All ,
Anyone know what the active channels show up as in DreamboxEdit ? I want to change them from "Services" to "TV" .
Thanks

Not sure what they are in DreamboxEdit but you may be able to track it down from the parameters. It is simply called Sky News - but there are several different ones with that name.
All four pictures appear as a single mosaic and the MHEG s/w selects which one and expands it to full screen by pixel doubling. The audio is selected from the AIDs
12207 V 27500 2/3 QPSK
SID 4707
TID 2026
PMT 258
PCR 8190 (=0)
VID 514
AID 642
AID 643
AID 662
AID 663
Hope this helps

Thanks for that . Shows up as "Sky News" as a "data" channel on Dreambox edit . Managed to pickup the video stream , but I may have to play about a bit to get the 4 mosaics as individual channels .

That may be possible using a Sat PC card but it would take a fair bit of programming to do it as a patch or add-on for a Dream or other STB. I hope you are very proficient in C++ :D
The BBC does the same for its 6 news active options but doesn't bother to expand them on a Sly box.
You probably know that the BBC Sport inter-actives are 6 separate channels though and can be recorded individually (in my case to get the BBC F1 Forum after each GP).

Thanks Deflef . I didn't think it would be that complicated . My programming skills are limited so I think I'll pass . Yeah , I've got the six BBC streams already sorted . I thought Sly News would be similar but obviously not . Thanks again .
