Ok, i'm about to re-motorise my setup (dish blew off course 2 years ago and never got round to fixing it) only to find my horizon to horizon mount has died. It's moving a 1m offset dish so which model would you guys recommend as a replacement? Budget is pretty decent and i'd rather pay for a quality item than do it on the cheap. Any info, links would help a great deal.

Thanks in advance.

Dark motor would be my choice with metal gears.

Only for Orbital Dishes if you get the V Bracket motor

Technomate 2600 H-H Disecq motor or Dark motor metal gears or fortec star motor are very good motors indeed .

i personally would not advise StaB motor ive had lots probs with them in the past ..very slow driving plus massive play in arm aswell .

hope that helps ,
