Finally .sub files are supported :) I've reported this before. Opensat started to listen customers. This is really promising.

any ideas why my 4923 is failed with this?
Last time I've tried to playback it - azbox switched itself to radio or either shows me "not supported" message.. O_o

tbh I've no idea, my setup is pretty basic, only multicas, web int and priority script 1.3
hdd is an internal 500gb drive
I've tried to DL recording to a PC and it plays OK on PC
but shows info
Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1080 714285.71fps [Video]
Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz stereo 256Kbps [Audio]
probably internal azbox player is getting confused with strange fps?
dunno

Is this FW better than 0.9.4890? Quite happy with that one at the moment and will only change if it's an actual 'upgrade'!

ppl say its faster
back to 4890. This one is rubbish - issues with EPG and recording are even worse... also hangs while recording FullHD

No problem here seems the troubles are on your side.
To everyone it's simple to test the fw you won't loose any settings just simple install the fw without dom format ( haven't done one since i went back to opensat fw coming from kgd).
You can always go back without loosing your settings, load the fw on usb - go to settings - fw upgrade - and then select usb instead off internet.
4923 Bby far the best released

If sats your are watching have good amount of EPG data, then you'll have some freezes in TV mode. This problem started after EPG fixes in 3-4 past firmware including 4923. We discussed this here (after 8th message)
https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?p=730462&posted=1#post730462
Right. the main problem on my side is the box itself.
If they've changed the file structure of *.dat files that
is in charge of storing channels or epg they have to
include conversion utility for upgrade!! I have tens of
satellites and dont want to rescan all of em. I've tested
this fw during 1 day of the World cup and missed several
matches. Opensat do nothing to fix their bugs. They just
make it even worse... The bug with recording schedule still
presents.. With 4923:
Try to open EPG list on the channel and record a program which is already on air. azbox will fail and you have to reboot it to see EPG again. Try to set 4-5 scheduled recordings and when one of them is done try
to open the list again... it completely messed. time, dates.. all wrong. This should be sorted out ages ago.. Why they cant fix it?

Not sure if this also a bug with this firmware, perhaps others can try it and confirm.
When I use resolution button on remote control to change input /display resolution, I still see a '>' symbol left on the screen afterwards. Changing channels or going to settings screen and back do not remove it. I have to reboot to get rid of it from the screen.
Anybody else seen this one?

However this now uses v10 of the channel data, which is incompatible with the SDK files. Consequently the azepgmgr is now broken.

Thinking of going back too, is it worth going back to 4911 or does the EPG not work with that one either?

Anybody knows how to convert the V09 channel data to V10, i canīt install the 4923 and 4931, every time I had problem because the changes in channel data, if i install using the "format aplication area" is OK, but when I try update the Channel data (using USB ou MAZ) i got the error and need to return to 4890.
PS. I also tried install withou format aplication area and had the same error message saying to rebbot.
