but not sure they are official??? I have checked on the tomtom site, but the latest that are available are 8.45...can someone help??

Yes they are official, released a couple of weeks ago.

I think they are the 2.2GB ones. Iam still waiting for the 2.0gb for my XL Live IQ as they are having problems with getting them to fit.

No, TT are still working on the 2.0gb one for my device and some 720s. End of the month they say, with enhanced map features. We will have to see about that.

The me ta text in post no 5 is the one to use for the Western and Central Europe 2GB 850.2820 map.
No never worked for Tomtom, just did a lot of searching & reading when I upgraded my old Go500

i have the go740...ne suggestions//???

i have just installed the uk8.50, now i am getting the same error message, but these maps worked fine previously?????

Is the ttsystem file on your Tomtom patched & have you activated each map ?
The W & C Europe v850.2820 should work on Tomtoms with Navcore v7.4** or higher

Hi Russell, working now, i didnt patch the ttsystem, now working,
these maps do not have IQ rotes do they????
if they do, how do i enable them??

No they have not go IQ routes or ALG, the new v850 maps with them on have not been released yet.
