I have the same.
Specify what type of kit you have mate, please.
Perhaps then we can guide you more?

if twin LNB mounted on dish
1 cable from box to LNB part 2
1 cable from box to motor to LNB part 1
both tuners have access to all transponders on same sat location
if single LNB
tuner B > loopthrough tuner A > tuner A LNB > motor > lnb
tuner B has only access to active part of LNB (1/4 of all transponders)
Ideally each tuner has its own dish with motor: both tuners can operate fully on its own.

I cant figure this out Tuner A Is motorised working perfect but when I add tuner B the motor wont drive dish on Tuner A. I have a quattro switch LNB one cable which drives the motor is connected to TUNER A and the other is connected to TUNER B. What should my Tuner B settings be ?

A, set up Tuner B exactly as Tuner A

Go into Tuner A settings & check -then type in same settings as Tuner A into Tuner B

If in 'Sat config' menu you have Tuner B set 'as Tuner A' it wont work m8 u have to type in exactly same settings

So on Tuner A Thor is stored as pos 20 then do same On Tuner B menu etc

does not work for me I have now put in same settings in Tuner A and B manually scanned just some channels on THor but motor wont move on Tuner A. If is disable tuner B all is back to normal. Using advanced mode in Tuner setup
Using PLI image here I do not have a HDD installed

Gave Tuner A as priority Tuner in customised setup and now its ok.
But how do I toggle between tuners if I wanna watch from A or B ?

You can't really expect both tuners to drive the motor?! On tuner would be used to drive the motor, and this is the tuner that would be used most often (tuner A), then the other tuner (B) would just be used to watch another satellite that is on the same satellite?!

The box won't be able to record one channel on say 19.2e, and another channel on 28.2e, unless you either have:

(i) Two motors, motor 1 connected to tuner a, and motor 2 connected to tuner b
(ii) Motor connected to tuner a, fixed dish connected to tuner b (or vice versa).

So, the way you have it sounds to be correct?! The box will always select tuner a, unless you are recording something on tuner a, in which case it will use tuner b (where you can only use channels on the satellite which tuner a is using)?!

m8 one drives motor only that is tuner A while with tuner B I can watch from same sat OR record.
I had to add Tuner A as priority Tuner in customised setup then it worked fine But I still cant figure out how do I watch from tuner B ?
I have no HDD.

I haven't gotten tuner b setup yet, as waiting to get multi lnb... But I'd have thought that basically once tuner a is recording, tuner b will kick in?! Is this not the case?!

The tuner B needs to be set up too and in my case the same way as Tuner A.

Yes you are correct if they are on the same satellite and same LNB...The only way to make sure this is working is to start recording on one channel and then to try and change to another channel.

If the receiver allows you to do so that means the second tuner has kicked in or if not then the listing will be greyed out.

how do u watch from tuner B HAVING NO HDD ?

Well there is no point in watching from Tuner B if you are having both the feeds from the same satellite since there is no PIP function implemented in the VU+ Duo as yet...

If they are 2 different feeds from 2 different satellites the selecting the correct satellite will automatically switch to the second tuner.

hi all,
i have just purchased a vu+duo (great box too)
i have a dual lnb setup to a motorised dish, ( but i am only using 1 lnb port at the moment)
i have only 1 cable conected to the lnb (the other is spare at the moment.)
i have the cable from the lnb to the lnb port on the motor, then a cable from the motor to my vu + box Lnb1....
i have set tuner B to be equal to tuner A
would i benefit from running another cable from my spare Lnb port on the dish to tuner 2 on my receiver ? hope you understand what i mean !!

hi all,
ive got the vuo +duo with hdd
ive set up tuner A on a motorised system, working a treat.
i was going to set up tuner B on a fixed dish (eg 28.2), then take that satellite out of tuner A settings so i could record.
do u think that setup would work??

I have my minidish (28.2°e) setup on tuner A, and then the motorised dish setup on tuner B, I left 28.2°e enabled on tuner B, so that I can record 1 channel and still watch another, from any satellite.

It works 100% like this, I haven't tested the other way around, as I assumed that tuner A would take priority over tuner B.

I finished setting mine up yesterday, i have the motorised dish setup on tuner A for just 13ºe, and 19ºe at the moment , i then connected my minidish to tuner B for 28.2ºe everything works as it should do. My Tuner setup is

Tuner A
Configuation Mode-> simple
Mode-> positioner
longitude-> enter your longitude here
Latitude-> enter your longitude here
save the settings

Tuner B
Configuation Mode-> Advanced
Satellite -> Astra 2A/2B/2D/Eurobird (28.2ºe)
Lnb -> Lnb2
Priority-> Auto
Lof -> Universal Lnb
Voltage mode -> Polarization
Increase Voltage -> No
Tone Mode -> No
Diseqc Mode -> None
