Amos-4? Has not arrived yet!

Scheduled for lift-off in 2012 to a new orbital location over the Indian Ocean region

http://www.amos-spacecom.com/content.cfm/amos-4

If you mean he AMOS-2 satellite and co-located AMOS-3 satellite @ 4°W
It is still going strong here in Belgium: 10722 H SR 27500 fec 3/4 (Europe Beam) channel 1Plus1 logo 1+1

When your on 5°W Atlantic Bird 3 @5°W 10970 V SR 29950 FEC 7/8 channel TéléGrenoble Isère, use the Motorized Setting in Main Menu receiver, select Sat Location 4.°W with transponder 10722 H SR 27500 and use Move Fine correction to the East (Left on the remote control) think about 5 times signal should drop a little and then rise again. It will not even show the red blocks and stay yellow and blue (depending your location and dish size. Hopes this solves your reception.

Don't know a lot: reading, testing and trial and sometimes google is your best friend: 16°E problem: in short
Eutelsat W2M problem:

EUTELSAT STATEMENT ON THE W2M SATELLITE
Paris, 28 January 2009
Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) announces that the performance of the W2M satellite, which was launched on 20 December 2008, does not comply with the requirements set with the spacecraft’s manufacturer, EADS Astrium/ISRO Antrix, following a major anomaly affecting the satellite’s power subsystem. This anomaly occurred during the satellite’s transfer from the location used for in-orbit tests to its operating position at 16 degrees East where its mission was to replace well in advance Eutelsat’s W2 satellite.

W3B:

W3B
W3B will be based on the Thales Alenia Space 4000 platform. Due for launch in third quarter 2010, it will be located at 16° East.

Designed for an operational lifetime of 15 years, W3B will offer significant flexibility to operate a wide range of services from TV broadcasting to professional data networks and broadband access, in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Hosting over 350 TV digital channels in more than 17 languages, 16 degrees East is one of the leading orbital positions for broadcast in Central and Eastern Europe and, via its steerable beam, it is a prime video neighbourhood for the islands in the Indian Ocean. These markets are experiencing solid growth, in particular in Central and Eastern Europe where cable and satellite reception has grown at a double digit rate over the last four years.
