Hi,

Is there a VBox (36v) which is compatible or works with USALS (not DISECQ 1.2) ?

Regards

usals is the program inside your receiver that issues diseqc to the motor: DiSEqc 1.2/Usals Are They The Same? (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=135220)<=click here Will depend a lot of the implementation in the receiver.

Maybe I was not clear...

I can move my dish using a VBox if I set it up as DiSEqc 1.2 in the receiver but nothing happens if I set it up as USALS...

I mean my dish doesn't move...

dish setup is a little different when using usals, but at certain point dish should move.
what receiver are you using? did you fill in your latitude and longitude? Somewhere in your receiver you should have the possibility to move your dish with remote under usals, try west and east and keep an eye on the dish? If you can't move the dish under usals, keep working with diseqc 1.2 if dish moves under usals: follow instructions for setting up dish for usals in your area

The vBox is used to control 36v motors and 36v motors are incompatible with USALS.

I can see no reason to set up a 36v motor using USALS, is there any reason why you can't use DiSEqC 1.2

For obvious reasons that it's the most easiest method to setup your dish and it's a pain in the arse to setup DiSEqC 1.2 in the VU+ Duo
