I have an irdeto Aljazeera sports card in my DM800HD that I have lost the signal. Previoulsy I used the self service website to refresh the signal but I tried it last night and could not get access to it. Anyone else had the same problem recently and could point me in the right direction?

You have to use a proxy server in the Middle East and create an account first (before there was no need to create an account). At the moment online sub renewal is disaled but you can still send the 5 daily signals.

I created an account a few weeks ago but when I tried yesterday and today to get through the website is not connecting, hopefully it is a temporary thing. Was hoping someone else could try and confirm, maybe the website has changed?

Hi,

TheGod is quite correct. the site is definitely up, but you probably need a new proxy (they don't last forever!), so try another one. When you get one that works, the site will open, honest!

Since we have started to discuss their online card self service portal: does anybody know why they are not allowing online renewals at the moment? Maybe they are waiting for the WC to finish so they can restructure the channel lineup?

I am having no luck, I have tried a number of proxy numbers but not been able to connect with the serlf service site which I have as follows h**ps://sbs.aljazeerasport.net/SelfService

Any other thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

Finally got through to the website and sent a refresh signal. I have left JSC Sports 2 on, does anyone know how long it takes to re activate the card?

Hi,

They're usually pretty quick, but remember there is a time difference, and it's now more or less the weekend. I would keep asking for a refresh once a day until you get the signal, but usually it takes under 12 hours.

Once other thing, what emu are you using? CCCam is no use for Viaccess updates, I usually use GBox for that, but maybe someone could confirm whether it's good for Irdeto updates?

I use a dm500s too, and i just bought a new al jazeera sports card, which i put into the dreambox's slot (so i dont use any card reader). I am connected to Hotbird (13').
By reading many posts and threads, i concluded to the fact i need to have these lines on my cccam.cfg ...

Supposing that the seller has enabled (activated) the card, do i need to make any other cfg changes or it's ok and i can see the channels ?

-Also, why when the seller activated the card, asked me to set the channel to Al Jazeera Sports #2 specifically ?
Is there something i could have done my self from AlJazeera's website ?

P:0500:30700 is for old Jsc viaccess 3 cards which is long since dead .

P: 500:42400
is correct line for jsc viaccess 4 card .

P: 603:000000
FOR Jsc Irdeto card .

All the rest looks ok but only if your using Jsc Irdeto card do you need these lines :

card reader: /dev/sci0
CAMKEY: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CAMDATA: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/sci0

with jsc viaccess 4 card you'll not need above lines and will work without the problems that you'll get with an Irdeto jsc card.

...meaning that the specific friend will be able to use 4 hops AND my local card's keys ?

yes but really only need F: test test1 2 1 1
2 hops and your local card emu should be enuff i thinxs .

oh i see!
another question i always had, in the C line, if we put "no" as this for example ..

C: test.dns.com 12000 xxxx xxxxx no

...do we mean that we don't want xxxx's local or other emulations ?
If so...then...don't we miss some good keys that we could possibly use to see some encrypted programs ?
..with the above C line's data, if we put ...

C: test.dns.com 12000 xxxx xxxxx yes { 0:0:2, 0603:0 }

...then we WILL use xxxx's local or other emulations until hop2 BUT NO 0603 , correct ?

My thinking is that i can't think of a reason about why we need to put "no" in C lines.

I have an irdeto Aljazeera sports card too. I have created account and tried to log in without success. I get as far as putting my password in then no further. I got password e-mailed back to me, just to make sure I never made a mistake. Still no joy. Any ideas?

Hi daviecrain,

No-one can send a refresh signal to your card expect you. The card number is linked to your log in details. If I logged in, I could only request a refresh signal for my own card, but not for anyone else's card. That wasn't always the case, but that's how it works now.

If you are getting to the password stage, then your proxy is working. Make sure your computer isn't blocking cookies, as that could be your problem. Other than that, make sure your password is being entered correctly, including upper and lower case if applicable

i have jsc viaccess 4 card and am having trouble with it freezing for me every few mins for bout 10 secs? is there anything i can do and does anyone know what is causing this. i have it running in ccam 2.1.4.

Hi Irishchris,

I have a JSC Via4 myself, and I'm also using it with CCcam 2.1.4 in my (genuine) DM800. I don't have any problems with freezing at all. I don't know of any resaon why you should be having a problem with CCcam 2.1.4, but why don't you try another version of CCcam to see if that helps? Failing that, try Gbox as my card works perfectly with that too.

long time no speak.We've chatted a few times in the distant past on various forums mainly dbox related.
Do you have any problems with ecm times with your card on some channels?
I have the same card in a smargo on my DM800 and I often find (mainly with +9 and +10) some channels default to a network ecm rather than local card.If I unplug the network cable the card decodes fine.Bit baffled .

I do indeed remember you, and i still have my Dbox2 with Sc8in1 fitted! It's actually still in service, as I lent it to a mate recently.

I have my Al Jazeera card in a Smargo too, and I have experienced what you mention. Not sure if it's something to do with the Smargo, as CCcam sees it a Net connection anyway, and not a local card. Apart from that, my card doesn't have +9 and +10.

Thanks for confirming that,at least I know its not an issue specifically with my card or setup.
Sadly my dbox2 is currently gathering dust in a cupboard. Got an original DM800 a while back to replace my old DM7000 which in turn replaced the dbox in the bedroom.Planning to dust it down and install it in my daughters room at some point when I can be brave enough to climb the ladder as there is a spare feed on my sky dish but its a bit high up! (not good with heights - my own install was a bit lower).

I have same issue as you have described here , did you solve it ? password is correct and proxy too , but nothing happens upon pressing signin.

Me too, I have the same problem. How can I solve it? I used a password with letters and numbers. Probably the problem is in the sbs keyboard...are you agree?

EDIT.

It works for me with IE...

Hi Alichaarani,

I have came acrosss this error before. I'm pretty sure your dealer hasn't registered the card with Al Jazeera, so as far as they are concerned, the card isn't in circulation. Therefore, your best course of action is to contact the dealer who you bought the card from, especially if you are still getting the same error a few days after you bought the card. He should have had time by now to register the card.

Problem in that that to me the card was presented on birthday by the friend it has left in европпу for work will arrive it is not known when to contact it there is no possibility and what to do I do not know a card simply lies it can is possible to ask what who that could register a card in system Al Jazeera?

Hi Alichaarani,

I know from experience Al Jazeera won't answer emails from the UK, so unless you are in a country where the card is officially available, you might find it difficult to get any help. I'm only guessing, but Al Jazeera will know the serial numbers of cards that have been distributed to dealers, and switch these cards on when the dealer informs them that the card has been sold. This will be to help prevent fraud and the sales of stolen cards. I don't think anyone except an official Al Jazeera dealer will be able to get your card switched on.

Hello everyone....I've just renewed my card from an authorized dealer and he sent me the signal, but, I 'm not getting any of the JSC sport + channels. Do I have to synchronize the signal and the receiver, e.g., the receiver should be on at the time of sending the signal? If this is the way to do it, which channel should I use for this, JSC 2 (open)? I would really appreciate any help. -JO
