easy streaming software?

Hi,

I have an old dm500 and I would like an easy streaming software. Streaming works fine with the web interface and VLC but it's not so easy to change channels (I have to switch to firefox then launch vlc). Not to mention that web interface was not designed for my netbook! So my question is, what streaming software are there that allow you to easily watch and change channels?

Dreambox Viewer 4 works as lets you change channels and record if you want
