Cliquer.exe?

Just thinking of getting a null modem cable for my TM6900HDsuper. Dont quite understand the part the laptop plays. Is "Cliquer.exe" a programme on the computer, or is it part of the patch?
I have seen the advice in parts in this section, is there a complete guide?

run sbcl1

how do I tell if its working.

I tried the theme x ch's on 13e but all scrambled

should the 'leds' on sbcl be lit??
does sbcl need configuring.

how to diagnose if the serial connector is working.

Well I'm connected via the serial cable on com port 5. I ust downloaded the channels list from my stb

In the cliquer dos window im getting 5032 portcom error /dev ttyS0.

any ideas?

not working here yet !

my laptop is connected ok to the net and the port is correct leaving the lappy to the TM1500 (the tm loader talks to the rx ok), I get a an error message in the CILQUER ICI dos window saying port error !

so it looks like the TM doesnt want to commuicate with the programme, how do I enable SSSP on a 1500+ ? I've tried typing 9797 at various locations in the menu but nothing so far.

How do you turn on SSSP with this model ?

if you get a port error you don't have it on com1. this is what it says with uploads: just change channel to activate sssp on TM1500

i changed the port to comm 1 and there are no errors on the dos box.
how is the sbcl configured

1. run CILQUER ICI
2. open folder SBCL_ vpulg
3. run SBCL v1.0i
4. check to see if vplug is active (ticked)
