Hi
I've been told that a Triax TD110 1.1m Satellite Dish is an excellent dish, yet I can't find one independant review.
If you can comment on this dish please do.

they are excellent dishes , providing you buy some extra nuts and double or triple up on them for extra strength , rather than use just the one nut on each bolt
but they arent big enough for nilesat where you are , as you need one more like the answer in the first reply for that
size being everything , or move closer to the middle east :)

Top notch dish, and as said bolt it down well. had one for years with a dual feed. Moved but still have it waiting to put it back up as a spare.

I am Proudly casting my personnel view on the quality of the T^iax Dishes.
I think it is down for the Process of casting the Dish in a Strong Format and Coating it with a Very Resistant Coating....
Although Water Based Spray Painting has been made mandatory recently (Cutting many incomes and trades) I would assume. The Quality Is always %100 Even after 20 years of use is Not Rusty.
The New Stuff just doesnt seem to have the same quality as many cheaper made dish's soon show their signs after 12 months or so.
Just goes to show how durable the Dish can be and still function properly This Morning !:gnorsi:
Have had many Dish's in-between the years or research; but After 12 months the Edges get a Bit Rusty and soon fall to pieces ..............
Night All :respect-051:

Using one of these on a STAB motor for the past 7 years here in Ireland and never had a problem with it and still looks like new!
imo if you want peace of mind on your outside components then a triax dish, stab usals motor and smart lnb will give you years of trouble free service. i have 2x1.1 dish, 1x 88cm dish and 1x 54cm 2x stab 100 motors and smart titanium 1st,2nd and 3rd edition lnb,s. regards mdt

I also have the TD110 with Stab motor for 7-8 years out in the Irish weather. Mine also looks new. :)
I think it was about 3-4 years old when I took the picture above (my avatar). And it still looks the same now !

I have had one with a quad lnb for around 10 years and there is no rust at all and has never given me any trouble.
It's quite a heavy dish, so you need to make sure the fixings are up to the job.

is that a beer can protecting your lnb/feed? does it help in bad weather with the weaker signals? regards mdt
