Failure to set TM1500+ for usb

in the device manager what will be the name given to a tm1500+, what sort of device will it refer it too ?

The programme on the lappy seems ok but the tm is ignoring it.

none: your os does not recognize the Technomate.
The connection needs to be:
Computer > USB to serial cable > null modem cable > Technomate.
Can't you stay in one thread and don't start new threads everytime? Is hard to follow what you did and did not try.
Did you try your serial communication as advised in other threads?
Did you set com as advised in other threads?
What are you trying to do?
