tm 6900 combo phantom patch help

Just loaded phamtom patch 699 5/7/2010 on to my tm 6900 combo hd none super it said loaded 100% but then turned of says on front panel write ok flashing with dim light so power of at back turned on now wont start up stuck with techomate sign dim light on it cant come out of it

Power off at back
Place usb stick with previous patch on 6900 or last official one from technomate. carefull not loading 6800
Have TV on
press menu button on front pannel, keep it pressed down
Switch on at back and use USB option in that menu to load firmware
the box should reboot by itself, if still problem, disconnect all cables except: power, tv and serial cable

If that fails do a forced download via rs232.

Ok thanks giga that did not work for me tried it a few times but no joy so how do i do forced download where do i get file and how to load it thanks

switch computer & 6900 off
connect null modem cable (com1) to technomate
start tm loader, select above firmware, start upload, and switch 6900 on when program says so
you should see a progress on front display, don't interrupt

Thanks but that was the patch that gave me problems as you can see from the posts on top

you know how to recover, if it not loads correctly. Try again and let the receiver reboot by itself!
If this fails goto previous: 696p.
try another unpacker:

http://www.7-zip.org/ perhaps the file became corrupt, download it again

All ok now 699 patch working nova sports open reloaded it and works strange but at lease everything fine thanks again for all the help guys:seeya:
