Quick DM500HD technical question...

My new 500HD comes on Tuesday and I'm upgrading from a 7000, can I copy any settings across from var/etc? The same with inadyn settings can I copy across or do need to start from scratch with the 500. Just so I know what to back up from my 7000! Thanks!

Some folders aren't the same. If its only the inadyn settings you want to save, then just remember 3 lines your inadyn_username, inadyn_password and your inadyn_alias or save your inadyn_script.sh.

You can also backup your channel settings but it would be better that you install new ones with HD channels included. Also if you are using cccam, your CCcam.cfg is enough although there is no /var/etc folder, it is plain /etc now.
