Hi Guys,

I have used this tomtom on my laptop previously and worked fine, but i tried connecting it today, and it says "usb device not recognised", I have restarted the computer, tried different usb slots, but still no luck.
I also downloaded the latest tomtom software and installed that, and got the same message.

Ne help guys?

Thanks in advance

Kay

Do a hard reset on the TomTom using paperclip or similar in bottom hole.

I've seen this sort of thing happening when folk dont close down the USB device the proper way . If you just unplug devices, ie , cables ,drives ,flashdrives by just pulling them out of the port you run the risk of disableing the port .See this happening lots of times . I know they say there plug 'n' play but dont pull things out of the port .
This may not be the case in your situation ,but it's worth remembering when using the usb ports.
Have you tried another pc or laptop ?
