VLC streaming stutter

Just playing with Dream-Elite-BH-1-3-3-OE1-6-DM500HD-Usb-Tuner-Multiboot
Streaming FiveHD to my PC causes the picture to stutter
here is the datarate from VLC - looks like the data is too quick for the network??

Depends on your network, I'm using 85mb homeplugs with my DM800 and can only stream HD from one or two low bitrate channels, no chance with FIVE HD or Sky1 HD.

A hard wired 100mb lan should be better, but not much. If I'm going to need to stream HD in the future, I'll choose a 200mb homeplugs.

Does DM500 support 1gb networking? If it does and you are hardwired, you may need to change your PC network card and/or switch if you have one.

My network is hardwired 1gb, PC is 1gb network card, but the DM500 (and I think all DMs) only have 100mb networking ....(this is the first time I looked at this issue)
