loosing time settings when power off..

have all azbox users same problem? when power off the box,,all time setting get lost..? why is there a battery inside the box? i think this should be for this reason also???or am i wrong?

where r u getting time from ? over the air ( antenna ) or internet ?
i use air and works fine .
