Hello all
I got cccam working for the first time today, but if change channnels, I get the SCRAMBLED message. Same thing happens if I watch a channel for more than 5 mins. I then have to reboot to get the channel back. So, it is unwatchable :(
I am using the latest FW on azbox premium, and cccam v0.02 (openxcas).
What am i doing wrong? Can anyone offer any advice please?
Many thanks

Thanks for your replies.
I have installed multicas 1.62E-AO7 but I nothing opens., I just get the message Scrambled - connect all failed.
I have the correct settings in the cs splitter menu (loaded from the cccam.cfg file).
Whats happened?

I have removed multicas and tried re-installing it (several times) different versions, but now each time I do this, I can never see it in the openxcas directory through filezilla.
Is it me or is this crap box?! I have never come across such an user-friendly peice of garbage in my entire life. I hope someone can tell me where I am going wrong, as I am on the verge of throwing this junk out the window.
help! LOL

uninstall opencas and muticas
google "The alternative "All one needs to know about AZbox HD" detailed guide"
detailed guide for muticas as cccam client + some good guides :)
oregon

Right. I have read the detailed guide. Uninstalled everything. Intalled openxcas and the latest multicas v1.62E-A07.
I also downloaded the multicas config from the plugin menu (azboxworld.com) - which was called Multicas v.161A-config.tgz. Was this the right thing to do? I noticed the config version is different from the executable version. Does this matter?
I am still getting the same connect all failed - scrambled message.
I would be eternally grateful if someone could assist!
Thank you

Could it be your port settings?
aoryx
28-07-2010, 01:46 PM
uninstall muticas
install it from download executable
don't install multicas config
after ur done activate it from activation and priority setting
then enter server ip (not hostname to c if u got some error with dns)
port user password then hit login and c if it tells u success or failed

But I am not running a server, it is client only. Would ports matter? Also, cccam 002 was working (but freezing)?
OK, I will uninstall and reinstall as suggested. Thanks

aoryx - I did as you said, and same problem. I did chmod the cccam.cfg file to 755. And also the multicas folder. Is that correct? Is there any files that need to be changed?

ok try to disable it from remote then login into azbox and go to muticas folder then type ./emu_module
should give u log

thanks for that. I am getting an endless loop of screens of output. Dont seem able to stop it. How do I send this to you? It does say connect all failed at the end of it, before it starts over.
many thanks for your help

Sure can. You must at least open up the ccc port, usually written in the configfile
oregon

I just opened the port and zero difference. I think I have had enough of this box. It looks as though its never going to work! I am considering getting the DM800 HD. Do you think I should just cut my losses and get a DM instead?

Set Muticas edit settings via options tab to connect to your azbox.
use splitter & cccam tab to enter your details select first row, replace the red
C: 0 no { 0:0:0 } at the bottom with your C: line details ignoring the { 0:0:0 }.
Set the False to true. Send to AZBOX.
Then reboot AZbox this should not be required. Assuming you did this after installing Multicas.
Check your router logs if any traffic is blocked from or to your receiver with its IP or MAC address (internet security, packet inspection, ...) clear the logs and attempt to connect with your receiver, refresh logs and look for blocked traffic!

Just a quick question, what does the yes/no mean at end of the c line?
u can read it at the original cccam config file . it mean reshare yes/no . this is the level of reshare eg. 2 hops { 0:0:2 }

I'm using Multicas as cccam client version 1.62E-A07, but i still have the problems, when I zap to an SD/HD channel the channel goes from scrambled to ok after 7 sec, after watching the channel for 15 min It starts freezing every 3 min. I own a DM500 and i've never had these anomalies especialy both are sharing the same CCcam server. Could anyone help me on this matter

botti - I had exactly the same problem. It was very annoyng to say the least. I have decided to get a DM500HD, as I have had enough of the useless azbox.

Hi I have been trying to get cccam working for the last month.
I've a db500s as a server. I am using an Aljazeera sport card for testing. I can view the channels no problem using cccam 2.14 .
When I look at cccam info page I can see my Azbox is connected as a client but only goes active for 20 seconds when I reset cccam on the Azbox.
At one stage last week I could see it go active each time I changed channel and it looked like information was being transferred between the boxes but the channels still didn't clear.
I've formatted the Azbox and reinstalled the firmware (4931 by telsat). This is the same firmware that was giving me the more promising results last week and I'm also using the same cfg fIles on both boxes. I've installed cccam according to the instructions in the sticky on this site.
I'm probably doing something stupid but I've spent a long time at this and didn't ask a question until i got to a dead end and don't seem to be getting any further.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did try multicas last week as well. I didn't spend too much time on it but had no success either.
Two quick questions
1. Does the client show up as being active each time you change channel
2. At one stage I forgot to connect the db500s to the satellite coax cable, I presume both boxes need to be receiving signals for any sharing to work.
I'll try multicas again. Thanks

no, it does work like a charm for most of us, so it must be a problem local to a vcouple of users.
i would suggest starting from scratch, delete everything, format application area, just have openxcas and multicas and add one c line with multicas edit.

It probably would work okay in those cir***stances. But, the slow channel opening, clunky interface and not knowing if the freezing was the fault of the box or the server just got to me in the end. The box is banished.

That's nice to hear,
Are you using priocaid.cfg from the example or are u using a special config.
for me when I switch to HD channel with hops 2 it takes almost 30 sec for the image to show, which is not the case with my DM800.
Mainly the display starts with no signal than scambled then it displays the image

Right, I have been testing my new DM500HD which arrived yesterday and all I can say is I wish I had dumped my azbox ages ago.
The difference is enormous. Start up time is way quicker, channel hopping is at least 5 times faster, no freezing, no hanging around waiting for the azbox to decide whether it want to open a channel or say "scrambled".
It is a joy to use. AZ was the biggest pain in the a** to use.

Well, ccc is working fine, I see no problems with the box, everything is working very fine.
There is only ONE problem and that is the server . I use an old dm500 as server - no problems anymore. Got a good working HD box and some extras included.
Stop nagging - the box works fine
