just got in, i had setup 3 timers for today.

im confronted with a screen saying "System - Prepare recording"

THATS IT!

im going back to 1.08.09 and staying there, unless i hear convincing reports about successful timers with anything more current.

i cannot beleive it! do they not test ANYTHING!!!!!!?

well well, all 3 timers worked today back on .09 firmware

Also had problems with .31, picture would go into slow motion and unable to use any menus, trying .09 to see if now ok.

Installed .09, tried PIP cannot watch 2 scrambled channels at same time, could on .31, trying .26 to see if better.

in the latest 31 firmware I get SERVICE ERROR and/or blank screen on all HD channels ( even after a rescan )

so I can only view channels that are SD , what use is that ?

Started getting the same issues (the slowmo failed recordings) on .26 after it's been running perfectly for ages.

wont even recognise my usb stick so cant even go back to an earlier firmware

am gonna try an empty usb stick and start again in fat32 or using the ice to format it first

works ok in fat32 so gonna empty my main stck and reformat it and then copy the files back onto it and try again
