hi all my tecnomate 3500d is patched with the latest patch when i try to record on usb hard drive its saying service provider i pick defualt its says record this channel i put yes then the picture freezes i then have to turn it off and on again at the back any ideas guys

its a common problem with this box, it works fine with a usb stick but its very hit and miss with hard drives.

did you fat32 format the USB hard disc? USB hard disc with external power give sometimes problems. Use none external powered usb hard disc.
