Just tried to up date my channel list with
https://www.satpimps.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=38532&d=1266393700.
The latest channel list as of Feb 2010 for the super series by satpaul.
Installed to usb then used usb to install to t5200 as normal , using green button update channel list .
Box now fully locked up cannot get anything showing - - - - on box where channel number used to be
Anyway of reversing this process ,Or resetting box
Help will be much appreciated

Oh by the way have tried turning off at rear and waiting but as soon asboot up gives same problem and cannot get into menu
don't understand this at all? using green on remote writes to the USB stick?
depending the firmware or patch on your receiver
power off at back
disconnect f-connector
press menu on front panel, keep it pressed down while power on at back
do you get a blue menu on screen with factory reset? use this.
if that did not work is there an usb load showing in the menu if it was showing?
goto Technomate website and download the relevant firmware for your receiver, put it on the USB stick (fat32 formatted) and use same procedure as above with stick inserted and select usb load option.
If above did fail get the loader for your receiver from technomate website and use the latest firmware for it that you already downloaded.
With a null modem cable coonected (power off computer and receiver before connecting)
start technomate loader and point to the firmware, start load and when loader tells you power up the receiver.
firmware loading should start, the receiver should reboot by itself.
if this procedure fails, try to get computer with real rs232 port and XP (older computer) and retry procedure.
If this fails take it to your vendor or contact technomate

Thanks Giga
Have tried first 2 options but box is literally "locked up" as if on standby so cannot get any screens displayed ? ??? :banghead:
However neither "remote" nor "standby" indicators lit on front panel.
Dont have null modem cable to try next option but will purchase ...for what it costs worth a try .
Thanks for your help .
NB been thinking about a new box for a while now ..any suggestions
not really, buying box is rather personal. Put on paper what you want, compare pro's and contra's. Inform good that box does what you think it does, not always the case. If possible see it working in real environment.
