I don't know the answer to that one but i have a question which is,
my loop through dose'nt give me a picture on the second receiver which
is a Protek9600ip. I have tested the patch lead and its ok with no breaks.:cuss:

loopthrough wont give picture, loopthrough is to send satelite dish signal from one reciever to the other,in other words the first receiver in the chain is the master so other receiver will only work on the same frequency as master
or turn master off and other reciever should work on all frequencies that dish is positioned at

best to buy
a) twin lnb , plug and cable (cost £10-20 lnb + £1 plugs coax ?? )
b) or a 1 in and 2 out puts ( cost under £5 + £1 plugs coax ?? )

Loopthrough had a place in the early days but with the advent of Uni-LNBs it just causes confusion.

But still nearly all manufactures of tuner modules press on with making them.

Their spec for GDS 7000hd also list's loop through for dish however it is not connected and does not work and they dont seem to want to resolve the problem on that box.:beatdeadhorse5:

Have others the loop through working of SpiderBox 9000 HD?
check your connection!
lnb -> coax > LNB in on 1st receiver > LNB out (loopthrough) > coax > LNB in on 2nd receiver (not loop through) (you are using sat coax?)

in theory when you select the same transponder on both receivers with the same FTA channel: this should work and confirm there is a functional loop through. Select the channel first on the Protek9600ip then on the other one!

To check the coax patch sat cable: reverse the position of the receivers in the chain!
LNB > lnb in Protek9600ip > LNB out (loopthrough) > lnb in SpiderBox 9000 HD (not loop through)

loop through on my spider box works fine,i used to have spider as master
and tm6800hd as slave and worked fine.if spider was in standby could move dish with tm no problem, but now dont use tm at all
