How do you initialise a new HDD?

HI all

I just plugged a Iomega 1TB esata drive to my 500HD, I can see it in the Hardware Info screen, but I cannot use it. I have gone into the setup menu, but there is no hard disk listed or any option to initialise?

I am using the latest gemini 5.1 image.

Very confused..Can someone please advise?

Plug in the hdd, re-boot the DM - press the blue button, you should see it under item 5-Devices Manager
