hi
if I use my icecrypt s4000 in twin tuner mode , can I have 1 input from a 28e dish and another input from an 8 way ( or 4 way ) diseqc switch ?
is there a preferred order input for these 2 ?
or do they both have to be from the same source ? ( say both from 28e )
and how do I select tuner 1 or tuner 2 ?
thanks

As far as I can see, answer to most questions are yes.
Under menu item "dish setting", it seems that each tuner is independant, so it should be possible to plug in from any feed diseqc or otherwise.

I have a motorised dish on T1 and a fixed 28E dish on T2.
It can be a bit tricky at times.
For example if I record something on 28E using T1 I can then watch and decode anything I like on T2 providing its on 28E, but obviously not any other Sat.
Trouble is if I then start watching something on 28E using T2 and the recording on T1 ends the box remains fixed on T2. Meaning I can't use T1 for motorised sat hunting.
I'm sure there's a simpler solution to switch Tuners on the fly but so far I've ended up just recording from T2 and then switching to T1 for other sats. End the recording on T2 and the box fixes back on T1.
Anyway, I've only just started using the box for recording as I've cancelled my Sly sub so we'll see.
Not to worried about missing anything as I mainly use newsgroups for TV/Movies.
Edit
Ok I've worked out that I can change tuners using the service page.
