AZBOX and Bulsatcom

hi, i read that the AZBox can emu Bulsatcom using mgcamd...is this the case and if so does anyone know what emu version, fw version mix works etc Also is it auto update-easy to configure-update, is there a channel list in English and finally what size dish you would need to receive it in Kent, South East England?

I use the Techsat version.

Plug-ins > OpenXCAS > Download Executable > Edit Server URL to
"http://techsat.info/AZCamd"

Then Download "MgCam-1.35a.tgz"

O,, just to add ; I update the keys through "TechSat_AZK" (TechSat AZbox Keys Downloader V.2.1a) Which I have installed on my AZbox.

To install TechSat_AZK:

Plug-ins > add plug-in > Edit Server URL to

"http://techsat.info/AZPlugins"

Then Download "TechSat_AZK"



I use a Triax TD110 in south Ireland.

Many thanks, did as you mentioned, everything installed a-ok, however for some reason my 1.1 triax is only pulling in a couple of transponders...do you get many Bulmers??

about 70 meters cable run of CT-125 !!!!

12688 H 30000 66% Quality

Im living in south Tipperary.

You should be getting the same transponders as myself.
Maybe nudge the dish left or right in "Antenna Setup" > "Positoner Setup" > "DiSEqc1.2" via remote??

Similar set up to Bulmers...re plug ins and MgCam...can get it loud and clear with 0.1 technomate lnb and 80cm dish in the Midlands UK on my Premium+ box. Using latest FW 5006.

Thanks for all this - didn't know mgcamd could get Buls*t! Just tried C@nal on 19e with the same camd but nothing - is there something i should do to get this (ie stay on a certain channel like with a g#mma card)?

Did you follow instructions as above from bulmers and download mgcamd 1.35a, and the techsat plugin using the techsat servers?


Works for me fine...

Downloaded the plugin Techsat_AZK
Downloaded mgcamd 1.35a
Download all the keys using the plugin.

Reboot, then go to any Bulsat channel, and it works perfectly.

xanadu, bulsat is working fine - my question was regarding Canal 19e channels - and whether these work with mgcamd - my questioned has been answered - they just opened!

hmmm, can't open the few channels (can only pick up 3 transponders...think i've got a line-of-sight prob:( that i'm receiving, d/l plugin, activated mgcamd, turned off multicas, updated k*ys on plug-in and have i missed something??/...chmod 755 or other???...so want this to work. again any furher help appreciated.
