As previously stated - patch 729p working well on my 6900HD super, but cannot instal tp 12565H 30000. on 39e. 12565V is in the tp list, but when I try to add tp 12565H , it tells me that there is an identical tp already installed !? I have checked the tp list and could only find 12565V which I deleted, but still unable to add 12565H, Any one else getting this problem ?

use channel editor to add that transponder: https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=110802

Thanks Giga - No USB to Serial Cable, so Uploaded channel list to flash drive, then edited it on laptop using Channel Editor, then re loaded in Rx - Worked fine - but I think I should be able to edit tp's directly from receiver

@Hamrag1 agreed.
On the other hand if we can solve the problem ourselves. And hope someone passes the messages along to the on duty patch cook.

This patch also corrects the re-booting problem on BIS 19° - which is good news

Hi. i've just installed patch 229p in 6900 super it said writing ok on front panel and froze, switched off at the back and now machine is dead. dealer now says g/tee may be invalid because of unofficial software

modification is always users risk!
USB method:
download official firmware from technomate

http://www.technomate.com/download/TM-6900%20SUPER%20COMBO.rar

load it on to fat32 formated USB Stick have only that unpacked file on it (.STB)
put USB stick on technomate.
disconnect all cables except power and flatscreen
power off technomate with power switch at back
press menu on front panel and keep it pressed down
switch now on with power switch at back
you can only release menu on front panel when display shows "Loader Menu"
follow instructions on screen
receiver should reboot by itself

how long do you have to hold down the menu button, finger aches after 5 min, box had new mother board fitted yesterday lasted 10 min and broke again i think i've been sold a lemon. didn't work out the box when new in may. now spent £60 on return postage to dealer and technomate

Giga

power off back switch (not front switch: standby)
press menu switch on front panel keep pressed down.
3, 4 seconds: should show Loader menu: on front panel and on TV screen.
Do you have null modem cable and real working RS232 port on your computer?

did you reload that patch? there is no 229p?
download the loader from Technomate.

http://www.technomate.com/download/TM-Loader%20For%20TM-1000-5000-6000%20Series.zip
disconnect all cables except power & TV: no coax or ethernet
connect null modem cable to computer and TM while both are switched off!
start computer
start program browse to the the official firmware
press connect and switch TM-6900 on when loader tells you to.
on front pannel should show: RX ..%
on screen should show: serial download
let downloading finish and upgrading
box should reboot by itself?

usb to serial converter and its worked ok before on technomate and other boxes. tried all above, only sign of life is red yellow and green lights on ethernet port, i've loaded patch's with cable before but usb wouldn't work for patch. i could load softcam with usb though

Ask friends If they have old XP computer with real RS232 and try null modem procedure.
Only thing I can think of: you uploaded corrupt patch to your box.
unpack firmware and patches with 7-zip!

Glad you mentioned the re=booting problem on 19e. Every time I went to NT1 the box turned off. I wondered if I was alone?
