Hello
Successfully running NFS and Priority Manager v1.7 with the movie/menu option enabled, however are there any other options I have to enable or anything else I can do as DTS audio still stutters?

You could just convert the movies to ac3 which is what I do. I just did one yesterday , it took just over 30mins to convert. I do this to all my mkvs with DTS before sending them to AZBox and they play fine :)

Thanks, certainly an option but ideally I would just like to solve the issues. I know others are able to play DTS just fine with the same setup I have, but I've clearly missed something.

DTS problem is not a performace problem, it's an official firmware bug. We're waiting a fix from opensh*t for 5-6 months. Currently only solution is to use an older firmware before this bug.

Ok thanks. I really hope this is sorted soon. One of the reasons I purchased this was to use as a media centre and finally retire my XBMC. Over a year later and I'm still having to use XBMC. Its just a dam shame the xbox isn't powerful enough to play MKV's as then there would be no need to source replacement.
There was so much excitement when this box was first release, but now fear for its life! This is only my second STB (first TM 9100 Super) and so thought linux would be the way to go. I thought that all linux STB were open source and only found out recently that this one is not. It seems instead of upgrading, fixing existing problems or including features everyone expected, Opensat just bring out another model. Example, no blind scan for me, not unless I want to upgrade to premium plus?!
Getting to the point where I'm thinking do I stick or twist? Everyone seems to be singing the praises of the vu+, spiderbox etc, although I heard all that last year just before I purchase my AZ (a lesson learnt I thinks :) )
It does seem though that some with the same setup up as above are playing back DTS just fine (see the 1080p + DTS perfect thread).
some older firmwares could play dts without drop outs but had another problems :(
