Which SIM do you have?
What settings file are you using?
How are you loading the settings?
Using dreamboxedit I have never had any problems loading a new settings file, are you using it?
BTW: For Ferrari card users, there is a new bootloader SSL76F which allows you to use unpatched images and updates, plugins etc... can be loaded as if a genuine box. Available at the usual places ;)

hi m8 i have sent the box back either to be repaired or replaced. (or Refund )
it was only bought 48hrs ago.
there getting a bit stroppy saying i must have put some bad software in the box but the only thing i have done with the box was to try and install ftp vanibals settings.
its the new 800hd with Latest Gemini 5.01 image , Boot 76, SIM 2.01 , Tunner alps l3 and iam using dreambox edit and vanibal e2 settings.
i also have a dreambox 600s and never had any probs with ftp ing settings.
thanks thou.

I assume you were trying E2 settinsg and not E1 settings ?
They are different from that of your 600

@sonic
yes m8 e2 settings.
dont know if throws any light on lt this
is what it says.
green screen displays
your dreambox encountered a software
problem and will reboot in 10 seconds
please send log file to tmp folders.
this was happening even when i was
exiting any of the menus.
it also says that ive used 98% of memory
which i find hard to believe as ive not installed
anything.even tried factory reset and still
says the same thing 98% of memory used
cheers paddyboy
