alteration to dish

i have a 70cm dish with monoblock lnb for 13 and 19e and i want to move the dish to 28e and put a quad lnb on can anyone recommend a good quality quad and how many db should it be for 28e , theres one on goldwafers 0.1db . should dish and lnb be ok for 28e. thanks

in uk 70cm will be ok sky use smaller dishes than your .70 as for the lnb .1 db will be over kill something cheaper will work fine even the sky quad lnbf thomson ect

thanks what about the fitting of lnb to the dish as i think the sky dishes are a different fitting i.e. arm size and diameter of arm . thanks

Hi, the new Sly lnb's have a standard 40mm collar, and come with a "legacy adapter" so that they can be fitted into the lnb arm slot in an old Sly dish. You can therefore use a new Sly lnb with your 70cm dish, as long as the 70cm dish uses 40mm collar lnb's.

thanks will have to get on roof and measure up the monoblock i have is held on with a collar so will measure that , thanks
