Hello

In an attemp to improve the DTS sound drop outs I have been trying various different firmware versions. After trying 0.9.2880 (old but someone claimed it handled DTS fine), my AZ Box network name has changed to TD210, and has remained even after reverting back to latest firmware?!

Is it possible I can the network name back to original (AZ Box) and if so how please?

Thank you

The network usually is named in the computer, not by any FW

Usually yes, but this is the name AZ Box has assigned itself and this happened after a firmware update. Need to work out how to change it back.

@jackhulk
you should change

/etc/hostname

I think FW copy somewhere from DISK1 or DISK2 on boot time ....

Hello,

The right way to change the name of the Azbox on the network is to edit:

/DISK2/hostname

You can also use

echo "Azbox" > /DISK2/hostname

Replace Azbox with the name that you want and reboot your Azbox.
Now it will appears with the name you specify, be carefull to use DNS compliant letters in the name you choose.
