No Dish Movement

Hi Folks

I have one Azbox premium connected to motorised dish via a quad LNB. I have two cables currently going to the LNB:
- one running to the Azbox downstairs and everything works fine there.
- I recently connected the second cable to the LNB and ran it upstairs in my house so that I could use the same box upstairs. However, when using the Azbox upstairs I cannot get the dish to move from where it was last parked.

Can someone point out what I've done wrong?

you say that the second cable is connected to the lnb and then goes upstairs. if you want the box to be able to move the dish you will need to connect the cable to the motor before it connects to the lnb.

you can only have one box connected to the motor at any time which means disconnecting and reconnecting the cables at the motor each time you want to change the box from downstairs to upstairs or vice versa.

you could probably rig up a switch that would allow you change the cable connected to the motor without having to physically disconnect the cable at the motor.
