is their a way of stopping my dish at its last position. if i am watching a film on 13e then switch off, later in the evening i might go back to 13e to watch something, the dish automatically moves to 39e causing whining from the dish and from my wife. any ideas ive searched and cant find an answer. also is their a way of making the clock when on standby brighter, cheers chippy.

do you turn the box off when not in use ? when I do that quite often I may get 39e as the satellite but the channels listed are from D+. ( one example)

I dont use the spider for sat positioning so its not a prob, it could be if you do !

If you switch the box off at the mains, then when you turn it back on it will default to the channel on the top of your "all satellite list" If you want it to be on 13E at start up, put a channel from that sat on top of your list.
Best just to put box on standby when not in use.

Best solution already been posted. On the sat list select hotbird instead of all satellites. It's moving to 39e because that's the first satellite in your list.

as stated above , select the satellite you wish to use FIRST , then select the channel list or fav list for those channels on that satellite LAST

it should remember this as where you want to be , UNTIL you change satellite to a different one , in which case repeat the same procedure so it remembers where you wish to be
