View Full Version : Installed Gift, came up incorrect Expiry Date

Set up my 9000HD yesterday and very pleased with it so far.

Installed the gift yesterday 03/9/10 and the expiry came up as 03/12/10.

Looking at the FAQ guides it should be 1 year later, is this correct?

Also, does the ethernet cable need to be constantly plugged in?

im far from an expert here, but it is my understanding that while the gift servers are being sorted the expiry date will be all over the place, this is being sorted and i for one am not worried about it. i keep my ethernet lead plugged in. hpoe that was of some help. chippy.

just connected my 2nd spider up, and my dates the same as yours, i would have been a little worried, BUT if you read the info on things , things are changing for the better for us spider users, SO NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE DATE EXPIRE DATE

Yes M8 ?? Iff you want to watch anything From the [ Gift @ Service + ] Package , Your Router has to be switched ON ?? IFF NOT WATCHING SWITCH OFF [ Cheers ] So others can watch Without Freezing;)

When you say switch off, would standby on the box be OK?

That is Fine m8 :respect-055: But I am getting in the Habit of Switching Everthing off these days ? I have more than the Spiderbox 9000 Running ?? The Price of the Power These days ? Saves me a Fortune;)

PaulI garanty you even after this day 03/12/10. ...you still will watch for another year...Gift service+


This is only provisiory untill Service+ get full Controll/...

No one wory about Day the GiftService+ will continiu for some time even after 12months... do not wory..
