I recently bought a home cinema with 2 optical inputs.I connected one with azbox.
At audio menu i have selected Dolby, all other RAW and line mode.
My problem is when i select a tv channel with ac3 sound i have the same sound from all the speakers.
Is there something i must do to have vocals for example from the center speaker, surround from back speakers etc.?
I dont know much for sound but ac3 gives 5.1 or is azbox problem?
Sorry for my English

Depend on the channel you are watching.
Some channels broadcast AC3 using only 2 channels (2.0 stereo),and you have no way to make it surround unless the home cinema simulate it.
The best way for you to test it,is by playing a movie from the hard drive or the network,an MKV type or similar, that use AC3 5.1 (surround) so you hear the surround.

Sounds like you have some setting in the home cinema amp wrong, as you should not be getting sound from all the speakers unless there is a DD 5.1 soundtrack. That is what I would check first.
Also, when you are on the tv channel with DD 5.1 (AC3) press the Yellow button or your remote and make sure the correct (AC3) track is selected.

As I said, try to compare with other viewers of this same channels.
But the idea of TV channels using AC3 2.0 still valid, such the case seem to be with the channels you have problems with.
