What am i doing wrong!!!!

Hi all my freind has just set his db 800 hd up,iv installed dream elite image e2,put satellites in(channels etc),put all network settings in his box,but when i try to download the cams in download manager it comes up with connection failed,i have even put his router in dmz,and his ip of the box in his router settings,
anyone know what iv missed,as its a while since i done my own

Manually download the file in .tgz format . FTP it to the /tmp directory and then Install it using the green then yellow button .

Hi again,iv tried to put cccam 2.1.3 on tonight from off here,ftp to tmp folder but when i try to install it using the green then yellow button it says i have got to upload the right file (tgz)before i can put it on,i have tried unzipping it aswell as leaving it zipped,come on help me out,what am i still doing wrong

HI had the same problem with that image. Changed back to BH 12 E2 and working fine. Seems to me that having to find plugins for DE image at the moment is a bit of a pain. Hope this helps.

@apriliarsvr,it not where to put the cfg file mate,im having probs loading cccam in to the tmp folder so i can manually put cccam on his box,iv downloaded it from off here but when i put it in the tmp folder and try to manually add it,it says no tgz file there,i need cccam 2.1.3 in a tgz file.
@vjb,looks like i will have to reflash his box with another image to get cccam loaded through addons manager.

no mate

i've just looked at the file, what you have to do is unzip the file and edit the mipsel file to CCcam_2.1.3 (i think that's the format for BH images) then transfer the file to /usr/bin.

then don't forget you'll have to edit your CCcam.cfg file accordingly.

once you've done that and you do a reboot and everything will work.

Dump the file into tmp using DCC then green followed by yellow buttons and it loaded perfectly for me!!
